The PUPM Story

Progressive Urban Property Management was founded in November 2019 by David Sharkey and George Rofail. They saw a gap in Cleveland's property management market: landlords were stuck choosing between overpriced firms that nickel-and-dimed them, or doing everything themselves.

PUPM was built to be the third option. Professional management with transparent pricing, in-house maintenance, and a real focus on tenant retention. The result? Over 1,000 properties under management across four counties, and a 4.9-star rating from owners and tenants alike.

Today, PUPM manages single-family homes, multi-unit buildings, multifamily complexes, and commercial properties across Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, and Summit Counties.

Meet George Rofail, Managing Partner

George brings over 30 years of property management experience to PUPM. He has been in the industry since 1993 and went full-time in 2006. His background includes a Mechanical Engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Penn State.
